Pink & Main Beach Bum - 51 cards from one 6x6 paper pad

I recently used Pink & Main's Beach Babe paper collection to make cards. It just seemed right to use their Beach Bum 6x6 paper pad next. The paper collection has a similar look with all the fun graphic designs. Since the colors are very patriotic with a bit of tan mixed in, I decided to make Independence Day cards. Although, I did end up sneaking a couple of Father's Day cards in the mix. All of the Fourth of July cards will be given to a local retirement home.

I used my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 51 cards.

Because I made over 50 cards, the video is a bit longer than normal. The real time recording was about 7 hours not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

There are a lot of busy paper designs in this paper collection. To help balance out the cards, I used quite a bit of solid colored cardstock. I used 29 sheets of  8 1/2" x 11" and 6 sheets of  12" x 12" solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors (most of them)
Deep Navy - Coredinations
Oceanic - Coredinations
Light Ocean Blue - Color Mates
Embossed Night Water - Bazzill
Ruby - Coredinations

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Pink & Main's Beach Bum 6x6 paper pad.

  1. Wow, Kristie! These cards are fantastic. I so enjoyed scrolling through and seeing the sketch you chose and the embellies you used. They are so clean and crisp. Wonderful patriotic cards. I like the Father's Day card, too. Handsome colors. Wonderful effort! Can't wait to watch them come to life in your video. :)

    1. Thank you, Jeanne! I really enjoying using this paper collection. Now I just need to make 40 more Independence Day cards to donate to the retirement home. :)
