Echo Park Simple Life Dots & Stripes - 26 cards from one 6x6 paper pad

I'm still trying to use up some older 6x6 paper pads from my craft stash. It would be really nice if I would use more older than newer 6x6's this year. Not sure if that will actually happen though since the paper companies keep making so many awesome paper collections. But I did manage to finish off the Simple Life Dots & Stripes collection from Echo Park. There is no video this time since I worked on the cards at my monthly craft get together. I kept the cards pretty simple by using only one card sketch. Then I used a retired MFT die for the rest.

I used my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 26 cards.

I will be donating most of the cards to a local retirement home after including a handwritten message.

  1. Looks like you were very productive at your monthly craft meetup. Fun cards! You are inspiring me to take a look at my older pads as well. So many ideas, so little time! Thanks, Kristie for all you do and share. :)

    1. Thanks, Jeanne! I have soooo many older 6x6 paper pads that I really need to use. But I keep getting distracted by all the fun new ones. :)

  2. I really like the clean look and bright colors of these cards! You chose two great designs and the circle maze element really looks great with the straight lines of the layouts. I have had a really hard time not purchasing new paper until I use up some old ones--there are so many cute new 6 x 6 pads! Great job with these!

    1. Thank you! It was nice sticking to the 2 designs for the entire paper pad. I still have tons of older 6x6 paper pads that I really should use, but I keep getting distracted by the newer releases. :)
