Carta Bella's Flora No. 1 - Part One

Over the past 6 months, I have been sending out Kindness cards. Mostly to random people and many times anonymously. There are so many different stamp companies that have awesome Kindness stamp sets available now. I've purchased quite a few fun sets and thought it would be fun to use my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial and make all Kindness cards. Since I generally give cards to females, the Flora No.1 collection from Carta Bella was perfect. Lots of feminine colors and pretty flowers.

I recorded the entire disappearing 6x6 process and this time I also created separate videos for each sketch used. At the end of the 6x6 series, I will post the sped up version of the entire tutorial.

For my first cards, I used a sketch from My Favorite Things. I do not design card sketches, but I do figure out the measurements for A2 size cards. Go HERE to see how I come up with the measurements.

I made 4 cards using this sketch.

Cards in Envy - Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

Hello and welcome to the 2nd Cards in Envy challenge for February. The theme is 'Roses are Red, Violets are Blue'. We want to see cards with mostly Red and Blue. I love color challenges!
I chose to try out a new-to-me background die cut from Lil Inker Designs. I've had it on my wish list for a long time. But it must be super popular, since it was always out of stock.

Lawn Fawn - Heart Blossoms

When I was trying to come up with an idea for a Valentine's Day card for my husband, I kept picturing heart blossoms in a tree. So I used the Lawn Fawn tree frame die cut to create a lovey scene and added tiny hearts instead of leaves. The card was so fun to make, especially with all the pretty pink and reds and touches of sparkle.

MFT - Flashy Florals

As much as I love using patterned paper for card making, sometimes it's fun to just stamp some pretty flowers on white paper. I used my Mini Misti to help with stamp placement. I also used a nice heavy weight cardstock so my cards are a good quality, even with a simpler design.
