Cards in Envy - Celebrate the Season

Hello and welcome to the final Cards in Envy challenge of 2016. Create a card to Celebrate the Season - any holiday that is celebrated this time of year. This is the Christmas card I made this year. I wanted to keep it nice and flat so I wouldn't need to pay extra postage for mailing them. My card inspiration was from Anja Bytyqi.

Tree stamps - My Favorite Things
Sentiment stamp - Reverse Confetti
Stitched background die cut - My Favorite Things
Ink - Reverse Confetti and Memento

If you have time during the busy season, I'd love for you to join our card challenge at Cards in Envy. Just remember to keep your card fairly flat so it fits nicely in an envelope.

Reverse Confetti sketch #43

December is a busy month for my family. On top of all the Christmas traditions and celebrations, we also have my daughter's birthday to celebrate. Anyone with a December birthday in the family surely understands how challenging it can be. But we always make sure to focus on her special day. She loves all kinds of animals. Giraffes are her absolute favorite, but puppies have been high on her list lately.
I used the latest Reverse Confetti sketch to make my daughter a fun puppy shaker card. I definitely didn't follow the sketch exactly since I used a fun Reverse Confetti cover panel die cut for the background.

Paper - Doodlebug - Puppy Love collection
Stamps - Reverse Confetti
Die cuts - Reverse Confetti
Sequins - Pretty Pink Posh
Micro beads - American Crafts

Another Kindness Card

It is a busy season right now. And that means less crafting time for me. But, my Christmas cards are done and mailed, so hopefully I'll be able to find a little time once in awhile to make cards. I am running low on Thank You and Birthday cards, so be ready to see lots of those in the next month.

Cards in Envy - Wouldn't that be Sweet

Welcome to the first card challenge of December for Cards in Envy. The theme is 'Wouldn't That be Sweet.' Create a card featuring something SWEET on it. What a fun card theme, right?
I decided to do a simple watercolor wash for the background and added some yummy My Favorite Things cookie die cuts. And since I'm trying to work on more single card videos, I added this card video to my YouTube channel.

Watercolor paper - Ranger
Watercolor paints - Kuretake
Stamp - My Favorite Things
Cookie die cuts - My Favorite Things
Stitched border die cut - My Favorite Things
Ink - Ranger and My Favorite Things

Come play along with the Cards in Envy card challenge! Just remember to keep your cards fairly flat so they can easily fit in an envelope for mailing.
