Happy 50th Anniversary!

Happy 50th Anniversary to my parents! That's definitely a milestone that so many people never reach. I hope someday, my husband and I will be celebrating our 50th anniversary. But that won't be for many, many years.

Reverse Confetti sketches are always so fun because they have lots of different elements and layers. I do not design card sketches, but I do figure out measurements for A2 size cards.

Doodlebug's Puppy Love - Part One

I've had several requests to use an animal 6x6 paper pad for my tutorial. When I saw the darling Puppy Love collection from Doodlebug, I just knew it would be perfect. Doodlebug always has such fun, bright papers with darling patterns. Plus, their 6x6's generally have a great mix of tone-on-tone papers and patterns. This combination works so wonderfully when using my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial.
(I am not provided any products, by the way. I'm simply a fan of Doodlebug paper.)

The first sketch I started with is from Mojo Monday. I do not design card sketches, but I do figure out measurements for A2 size cards. Go HERE to see how I come up the measurements.

I made 2 cards using this sketch.

Cards in Envy - It's a Heat Wave

I'm super excited to be the guest designer over at Cards in Envy. 'It's a Heat Wave' is the current card theme. They are looking for summer or HOT colored cards. And starting next month, I will be joining the Cards in Envy team full time. Seriously, so excited! They do 2 card challenges every month with different themes. Card entries can not be thicker than 1/4" and shouldn't require any extra postage for mailing.
