For a Special Teacher

National Teacher Appreciation Day is coming up on May 3rd. I have 2 kids in school. I also volunteer in my daughter's kindergarten class for a few hours every week. I have a true appreciation for our teachers and everything they do for our kids. Their jobs are so much more than a 9 - 3 work shift. So, I wanted to make sure to get some cards made as a small thank you to them. (I'll get them a little gift too. I just haven't decided what that will be yet.)

I used Reverse Confetti's Sketch #32, but I changed it slightly to work for my card. I did not design the sketch, but I did figure out the measurements for an A2 size card.

Paper - American Crafts

Pretty Panel striped die cut - Reverse Confetti
Border die cut - Paper Smooches

I did not design this sketch, but I did figure out the measurements for an A2 size card.

Donut Birthday

Spring has definitely arrived in Washington state. And it brought lots and lots of pollen. Ugh! I have horrible allergies and have been suffering from a sinus infection for the past 2 weeks. I'm finally feeling better and even got a few cards made. I have a long list of cards I need to make, so I started with some birthday cards. Everyone likes donuts, right?

Paper - Lawn Fawn -Let's Polka. Mon Amie collection
Stamps - Lawn Fawn
Donut die cut - Lawn Fawn
Stitched die cut frame - Pretty Pink Posh
Embossing folder - Cuttlebug
Brads - The Eyelet Outlet
Ink - Versafine and Memento
Wink of Stella glitter pen

I added this sentiment from My Favorite Things to the inside of the cards.
