Mojo Monday Sketch #462 card challenge

Last week was a busy week for me. Our family was on vacation in southern Oregon playing at the beaches. We usually just visit the northern Oregon beaches, but decided to go a bit farther this time. The drive was definitely long, but it was fun seeing some different sites. And my kiddos always love the beach.

Now that we are home and mostly unpacked, I made sure to get in a little card-making time.

Paper - Doodlebug - Fun in the Sun collection
Sentiment stamp - Paper Smooches
Circle die cuts - Spellbinders
Twine - The Twinery
Ink - Memento
Glossy Accents

Some of my favorite and commonly used crafting tools:
Tonic Studios guillotine paper trimmer
Scotch ATG (Advanced Tape Glider) glue gun
Sizzix BIGkick die cut machine
We R Memory Keepers brad setter and piercing tool
We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper
Scotch Mounting Tape 3/4"
Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive liquid glue
MISTI stamping tool
Accent Opaque Digital 100# cover weight paper for card bases

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  1. Very nicely done. I love flamingos--they are always dressed for a summer party!

    1. How did you make the flamingo? Was it a sticker? It looks like you drew it with glossy accents!

    2. The flamingo was part of the 6x6 paper pad. It was on a side of paper that included a bunch of cut out tags. I simply added Glossy Accents to the flamingo to make it stand out.

  2. Oh, what a colorful beauty! You really captured that tropical feel. Thanks for joining us for Mojo Monday!

    1. Thank you, Julee! I'm always a fan of Mojo Monday sketches.
