Doodlebug's Puppy Love - Part Nine

Welcome to the ninth post in my latest 6x6 Series. I'm using Doodlebug's Puppy Love 6x6 paper pad to make cards. If you're new to my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial, check it out HERE.

I didn't use a sketch for the final cards. However, I did use one of the super fun quilt die cuts from My Favorite Things. This die cut is great to use for all of the small paper scraps leftover. I made 6 cards using the quilt die cut.

Quilt die cut - My Favorite Things, Sentiment stamps - The Stamps of Life and Riley & Company, Paw stamp - My Favorite Things, Ink - Memento

Stay tuned for Monday's blog post where I will be sharing the latest video using my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial, as well as the group shot of all the cards I made from Doodlebug's Puppy Love paper collection.

Some of my favorite and commonly used crafting tools:

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  1. Love this paper used on the quilt dies, so cute! But it is that first sentiment that is adorable and so true. lol Very cute cards Kristie!! Hugs, Brenda

    1. Thank you, Brenda! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to use the sentiment during the video. But when I finished it off with the quilt dies, it fit perfectly. :)

  2. Love these quilt dies! You seem to have a good system for filling them in. I take far longer to figure those out. Do you have a magnet base on your die cut machine? I am constantly cleaning low tack tape out of the quilt die. Not a whole lot of fun, but I love the die!

    1. Thank you, Jennifer! I do love using the quilt dies and definitely have my system down pretty good. I do not have a magnetic base for my die cut machine. I also don't put any sticky tape on the paper prior to cutting. I cut the paper first. But, sometimes I put wax paper over the paper. It really helps get the quilt pieces out.
