Happy Mother's Day

I am so honored to be the guest I-Teamer on the Words 2 Craft By blog. The challenge words this month are:

A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.
Tenneva Jordan

I decided to make a Mother's Day card for my mom. (She has already received it.) But the card challenge would be perfect for any love card to mothers. What mom wouldn't want to receive a handmade card just because?

Paper - My Mind's Eye - On the Bright Side collection
Stamp - Lil Inker Designs
Flower die cuts - The Stamps of Life
Stitched banner die cut - Lil Inker Designs
Scalloped border die cut - Paper Smooches
Ink - Versafine
Epoxy stickers - from stash

I used a square sketch from I (Heart) Sketches and figured out the measurements for an A2 size card.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  1. Kristie, We're so glad you've joined us this month at Words 2 Craft By, and love your card! It's a great interpretation of the sketch. And, how nice for you to add measurements... aka those great OWH sketches. :)
