Doodlebug's Under the Sea - Part Four

Welcome to the Fourth post in my current 6x6 Series. I'm using Doodlebug's Under the Sea paper pad and my 6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make cards.

I used Operation Write Home Sketch #30. All OWH sketches already provide measurements for A2 size cards.

I made 4 cards using this sketch.

Sentiment stamp - Reverse Confetti
Fairy stamp - Lavinia stamps by Tracey Dutton
Label die cut - My Favorite Things
Ink - Close to My Heart and Versafine
Bling - EK Success
Glitter pen - Wink of Stella
Glossy Accents
We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  1. I was wondering what is your thought process to decide which card sketch you are going to use with the paper pad. For example, do you decide for each couple of cards or think through how you are going to use the whole paper pad from the beginning? I really enjoy your work and am inspired to make more cards. Thank you!

    1. When I first start a 6x6 paper pad, I generally select new sketches that I really want to try. Or if I have some new stamp sets or die cuts, I will select a sketch that would work best for those. I tend to make either 2 - 4 cards using the same sketch before moving on to a different one. As I continue to use up the 6x6 paper pad, I chose sketches based on what size papers are left. For my videos, I'll have a stack of potential sketches ready to use, but it always changes as I make cards. I hope that makes sense and helps answer your question. :)
