Reverse Confetti Sketch #26

I used the newest Reverse Confetti sketch and some Reverse Confetti products for my latest card. I absolutely love the subtle detail in their Woodgrain Confetti die cut panel.

OWH Sketch #259

The final Operation Write Home sketch is #259. It's hard to believe OWH's closure is already next week. But it's wonderful to know so many of our service members are now home safe with their families. I began donating cards to OWH in 2011. Since that time, the quality of my cards has improved drastically. I've met some amazing and talented crafty friends. I've started a blog. (Something I said I would never do. Lol!) I've written a tutorial and made 2 videos of that tutorial. I've been highlighted in a national magazine. (Woman's Day July 2014) All of this is because of OWH. I want to give a big THANK YOU to Sandy Allnock and the OWH volunteers!

My cards for the final sketch were inspired by Sandy Allnock. I decided to use some watercolor paints and create my own background rather than use patterned paper. I really like how they turned out.

OWH Sketch #258

The final OWH card challenges are all this month since the organization will be closing on August 1st. My card works for the July Mid-Month challenge of making a Love card with NO HEARTS while using the latest OWH sketch. I played with some fun new die cuts from Reverse Confetti.

Etch-a-Sketch Dinosaur Card

I have seen so many different types of Etch-a-Sketch cards lately. So, I thought I'd try my own using some fun Lawn Fawn dinosaur stamps. I used a die cut by Paper Smooches to cut out the center, then rounded the outside corners of the card with a Corner Chomper. I made a total of 5 of these for Operation Write Home. THIS video was what first inspired me.

Carta Bella's Hello Again 6x6 cards

The Carta Bella -Hello Again 6x6 paper pad has been turned into 34 cards. This was a fun paper collection with softer colors than I generally use. In case you missed it, I have a new 6x6 paper pad tutorial video. Go HERE to check it out. And be sure to subscribe to my channel so you won't miss any future videos.

This card was not included in the final picture, since it was given to my mother for her birthday.

Snail Mail

I made the final cards from the Carta Bella 6x6 paper pad using this OWH sketch. I made a total of 10 cards with the sketch using a variety of different scraps. I'll have a blog post, showing all of the cards, up as soon as I can get the cards all photographed.
