Another 6x6 is all done. I used Echo Park's Fall Reflections this time and made 26 cards. With the coming drawdown of deployed service members, most of these cards are being donated to my church rather than to OWH, so I used gender neutral colors. And since I'm ready for summer to be over, I thought some nice autumn colors would be perfect.
It's sketch time over on the OWH Stars & Stamps blog. With the coming drawdown of deployed service members, Operation Write Home will be needing way less cards than normal. So, I asked my church what types of cards I could make and give to them. Their requested themes are very different than the regular OWH themes. I'll be providing them with 'Get well soon', 'Grievance', and 'New baby" cards. So, for the newest OWH sketch, I made four cards for my church, and one for OWH.
Another fun crafty day for me. This card is a CASE from a cool one I found online. (But, I totally forgot to write down the source.) I love that it works wonderfully with Project Life cards; which I have an abundance.

I'm hoping to have a little more craft time this week since my son is away at summer camp and my husband is working. My 4-year old daughter loves to craft with me, so the plan is lots of crafty time together.
Wow, can it really be August already? This summer is just flying by. And it's been over 2 weeks since I have made a card. Way too long! But since I had sinus surgery just over a week ago, I think I had a good reason. I am feeling so much better now, so I made sure to get in some crafty time this morning.
I made this card for the recent Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for OWH. The August challenge is to include stars on a card. I decided to go with a patriotic thank you card.
