4th of July VCMP - Day 3

It's been a busy last 2 days with the fun Virtual Card Making Party going on over at OWH. Today is the last day, so 6 more challenges to go. I've made a huge dent in the Doodlebug 6x6 paper pad I've been currently using. Although, the colors didn't work for all challenges, so I have had to use other papers once in a while.

The first challenge is the OWH sketch. I always look forward to the new sketches on Sunday.

sketch - OWH sketch #232
paper - Doodlebug - day to day
stamps - Lil Inker Designs
die cuts - Lil Inker Designs
Versafine and Memento ink

The 2nd challenge is by Annette. Her challenge is to make a Thick AnyHero card with a message written inside and then a Thin version for a hero to write in and mail home.

paper - Doodlebug - day to day
stamps - Lawn Fawn, Paper Smooches, and Simple Stories
embossing folder - Cuttlebug
heart die cuts - American Crafts
button stickers - Freckled Fawn
twine - The Twinery
Versafine ink

Here you can see the thick dimension of my AnyHero card compared to my thin card.

The 3rd challenge is hosted by Becca. Her challenge is to make a card for teens.

paper - Lawn Fawn - Let's Polka
sentiment paper - Becky Higgins Project Life - Super Cute edition
embossing folder - Darice
twine - The Twinery
arrow die cut - American Crafts
Pearl pen - Viva Decor

The 4th challenge is by Yvonne. Her challenge is to make a love-themed card featuring a furry creature.

Now onto the 5th challenge. It's by Sherry. Her challenge is to make a Christmas card using 1 of 3 different OWH inchie sketches.

sketch - OWH sketch #175
paper - Authentique - Festive
sentiment sticker - SRM
bling - from stash

The final challenge of the VCMP is by Cara. Her challenge is to use a faux technique on a card. I chose to use some die cuts that have the faux stitching on them. They are some of my favorite die cuts.

paper - Echo Park - For the Record 2
stamp - The Stamps of Life
stitched scalloped border - Lawn Fawn
stitched square, banners, and butterfly - Lil Inker Designs
Versafine ink

And that concludes all the challenges for the OWH 4th of July VCMP. Whew! But it was lots of fun. Thanks to everyone who hosted challenges.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
