OWH MWT His & Hers card challenge

This week's OWH Midweek Throwdown is to use the same design and make two cards; one for a man and one for a woman. I did change it and made kids' cards instead; one for a boy and one for a girl.

Materials used for the girl card:
paper - Doodlebug - Stars & Stripes
stamp - My Favorite Things
border punch - Fiskars
brads - from stash
Versafine ink

Materials used for the boy card:
paper - Doodlebug - Stars & Stripes
stamp - My Favorite Things
border die cut - Verve
brads - from stash
Versafine ink

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  1. Another most excellent use of a great sketch for this week's challenge! The banners make a great border for the guy card. It's a bit hard to come up with workable borders for the guys, and I'll have to keep the banners in mind since they look fabulous on your card. Great job on both!

  2. Great cards - I have the 6X6 with the little airplanes - now I remember why I loved it!

  3. Your cards are perfect examples of how simple changes go from masculine to feminine in the wink of an eye! Beautiful color and pattern choices and I like that big, bold sentiment too!

  4. It's nice that you made subtle changes to make your cards look so different. I really like the little ribbon banners coming out the sides of the sentiment
