OWH MWT recipe mix card challenge

This week's Midweek Throwdown card challenge on the Stars and Stamps blog is to use a recipe. The recipe is 1 embossing folder, 1 border punch or diecut, 2 patterned papers, and 1 ribbon/twine. I love the idea for this challenge!

  7. Your version of the recipe is great. I like the soft colors used and the large scalloped circle with the sentiment and the repeat of that shape in the embossing. I especially like the touch of zig zag stitching.

  8. What a pretty card! I love the design -- especially the placement of the embossed strip on the right. And, your attention to detail -- like the 3-layered sentiment and stitching between the dps -- is great. TFS!
